General

The Core is a weapon that can be obtained through gaining experience or collecting the Floppy Disk pickup item. It modifies the player's main attack by increasing the number of bullets launched each time the main weapon fires. The number of additional bullets provided by the Core is equal to the version number. The additional bullets provided by the Core change the main weapons fire pattern from a straight line to a conical spread pattern that widens based on the version number.

Strategy

• Your main weapon is affected by all three passive attack stat increases (size, speed, and cooldown), which means they also synergize well with the Core upgrade.
• The Core's additional bullets can be used either to strike additional enemies or to increase damage by damaging the same enemy making it extremely versatile.
